There's a great little place for lunch in Dade City called "A Matter of Taste". We found it last year and have been back several times. Great menu and reasonable too.

If you enjoy wonderful Christmas music and the message of the Christmas story, plan to attend the annual Christmas musical at the Plant City First Baptist Church. The tickets are free and we have 20 people who regularly attend this performance. Contact Barb Sullins if you would like to be included in this group. We usually eat at Fred's Market in Plant City before the performance. Love to have you join us.

We found another GREAT lunch spot...... The Abbey Tavern. It's located across from St. Leo University on Highway 52 west of Dade City. The Tavern is located inside the club house of the golf course. Except for the neon "open" sign, the only signage for the Tavern is INSIDE the doors.

We found 4 tasty lunch specials under $10 and other combinations not commonly seen. More than enough to eat.

Check them out !

A special thanks to Pete and Betty Thompson for the hours they spend making coffee, planning events, seeing that supplies are ready for events, getting to the clubhouse early and leaving late after events.
